About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

Traveling to Beijing 7 days

We are english & Irish passport holders but travelling fron Spain to China (Beijing) for 7 days on route to Australia. What visa should we apply for us?

You will have to apply for a Chinese tourist (L) visa. In case that you can adjust your flights and stay in Beijing just a day less, i.e. 144 hours (6 overnights), you would be eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in Beijing area and you would not need any kind of visa. Maybe you could present here the dates and times of your arrival and departure to/from Beijing, so it can appear that you are already eligible for this visa free transit option.
