About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do I need permit or visa?

I have a flight from LAX to Denpasar with a layover in Qingdao and Xiamen.

Do I need special transit visas for the layovers since it’s two Chinese cities?

You only need a visa if the time from your scheduled arrival at the first city to scheduled departure from the second city is more than 24 hours.
