About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

In Transit to Bali

I am traveling on a St Lucian passport to Bali and may have to fly through Guangzhou. Do I need a visa for being in transit? If so, how do I get one?

You can transit through China, including Guangzhou, but you should keep in mind that your entire transit time should be less than 24 hours, i.e. the time is calculated from your first scheduled landing in your first Chinese transit point, until your last scheduled departure from your last Chinese transit point. If your itinerary is within the mentioned 24 hours, you are eligible for 24 hours visa free transit and you don't need any kind of visa. You should just bring your flight tickets in hard copy.
