About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72 Hours Visa

Hi, I´m going to Shangai, China on 23-25 October, so I understand I just need the 72hrs Visa.

So, do I need to go to the consulate nearest to me in US to get this Visa or can I just go an get it at the Shangai´s Airport?

There is no such thing as a "72hrs visa". There is also no visa on arrival at Shanghai. You either get a tourist (L)) visa from the consulate, or if your itinerary and nationality qualify you can transit without a visa for up to 144 hours.
