About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transit enquiries

Hi,please, i am a Ghanaian citizen and i live in Seoul, South korea. I am travelling to Frankfurt on the 11th October 2019. I have 2 transits in china (Guangzhou and changsha) less than 24 hours. Please, do i need any transit permit or Visa from the chinese embassy in Seoul?

Patrick, if your entire transit, from your first scheduled landing, in your case in Guangzhou, until your last departure from China, in your case from Changsha, is less than 24 hours, you are definitely eligible for 24 hour visa free transit or in other words, you don't need any kind of visa and you don't need to visit the Chinese embassy. All you have to do is to have your flight tickets in hard copy (e-ticket printouts) and you will declare at the check-in in Seoul that you will fly to Frankfurt via China using 24 hour visa free transit.
