About:Deluxe Soft Sleeper

Is the "Deluxe Sleeper" in the D954 train different from the "Deluxe Soft Sleeper" described here?

Hi,
I've reserved "Deluxe sleeper" in D954 from Yichang to Shanghai (there were not "Deluxe soft sleeper", only "Deluxe sleeper"). What is the difference between these types, if any? Is it also a coupe for 2 people with conveniences? How likely is it to get this reservation from Yichang and not from Chengdu?

In fact I doubt that there is really such deluxe soft sleeper set up on this D954. Although there is this option listed online, even on official website, I never find any ticket for sale. I suppose maybe only soft sleeper instead which is shared by 4 people. Also, see from my checking for recent 30 days, it is almost impossible to get ticket from Yichang.

I found this "Deluxe" on two sites, and reserved in one of them. They listed also 2nd class and regular Sleeper. I'm afraid, you are right: they call "Deluxe sleeper" what is usually "Soft Sleeper". :(
Could you let me to know, what is the official website which you are citing?

Hi, Lev. I mean the website of China Railway Company. This is the official website for train tickets but only Chinese people can buy ticket there directly. No matter which site you used, they will finally use the official website anyway. The website is www.12306.cn, it is in Chinese so I do not know if you can read it or not.

Thanks a lot! As I found in the site 12306 (by the way, what does it mean?), there are carriages of the type 高级 软卧 (I hope, it is "Deluxe Soft Sleeper", isn't it?) in the train D954. Unfortunately, it signed as 候补 - "waiting", or what?

Yes, it is indeed Deluxe Soft Sleeper and signed as "waiting" which means no tickets can be get now. The problem is that if you check this deluxe soft sleeper for all the 30 days online, it is always "waiting". So I guess they do not sale these tickets to public.
