About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Auckland > Shanghai> Hanoi>HCMC> Shanghai>Auckland

I am arriving in Shanghai on December Monday 16th 7.05am , then leaving for Hanoi on Thursday 19th December @ 07:00. We are then travelling back from HCMC to Shanghai on SAturday 11th January , leaving at January 14th @ 14.15. Can I get a 144 hour visa from Auckland, then another one from HCMC ( Vietnam) ?

We are going from Shanghai to Hanoi via HK ( just at airport for 2 hrs) .

That works as Hong Kong is considered a third region when it comes to immigration and visa procedures.

One 144 hour transit to Vietnam.
Another 144 hour transit on the way home from Vietnam.
Make sure there are no other mainland china landings other than those you mention above.
