About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I’m flying to Bali with 2 layovers in China(Pudong international-Beijing capital)

I have 2 layovers in China. 14hr40min layover in Pudong international and a 5hr15min layover in Beijing capital airport. This is less than 24 hours. Will I be eligible for 24 hour visa free transit ?

You have to add a flying time from Shanghai to Beijing too to see whether your total transit time is less than 24 hours. In short, the total transit time is calculated from your first scheduled landing, in your case in Shanghai, until your last scheduled departure from China, in your case from Beijing. If this is less than 24 hours and I assume that it is, you are definitely eligible for 24 hour visa free transit in China. Please, keep in mind to have your flight ticket in hard copy (e-tickets printouts).

One more detail, please check whether your flight from Shanghai to Beijing departs from Pudong or Hongqiao airport. Either is fine, but it is necessary to be informed about this detail.
