No, you don't need any kind of visa because your itinerary is definitely eligible for 24 hour visa free transit. You will be allowed to transfer between the terminals. To be allowed to do that, you will apply for 24 hour free entry permit upon your arrival in Guangzhou. Have your tickets in hard copy and you will present them at the 24 hour TWOV counter. You will be soon allowed to exit the airport, collect your luggage, change the terminals, perform new check-in and to continue your journey to Australia.

One more detail... You will declare at your check-in in Cairo that you travel to Australia via Guangzhou using 24 hour visa free transit. They will shortly check your tickets and you will be allowed to board the plane.
