About:Hainan 30-Day Visa-Free Access

Visit Hainan for short visit,Which visa should I do between visa on arrival or 30 days free visa?

I am from Thailand and planing to visit Hainan for fews day as my boyfriend will be in Hainan for work on September. 1)What type of Visa should I do as i am planing either going to Hainan from Bangkok or Hong Kong.2) Which agency in Hainan do you recommend i can contact with? and Do I Have to book tour with agency everyday during i am stay in Hainan. 3) Do I still have to book hotel as I will stay with my boyfriend in the hotel he already have a booking?

Punpayom, here are the answers to your questions:

1) You should definitely apply for 30 day visa free access. Please, have in mind that you should really fly from Bangkok or Hong Kong and not through some of mainland China airports. Just foreget about Hainan VOA because this scheme is practically on the exit doors.

2) It is not allowed here to openly suggest an agency, but I will tell you to put this phrase into an internet search engine: "Hainan agency English speaking". Like this, you will see the choice of the agencies and you will choose one that will help you to obtain a permission for 30 day visa free access. You don't have to book so many services. Basically, you will agree on that during your correspondence with the agency and in most cases simple services are enough like an airport transfer of a simple half day tour.

3) This is a bit tricky question because it is really necessary where will you stay. You definitely have to define what and where will be your accommodation, but as far as I know, you will fix this detail with the agency during your correspondence. In the end, you will be able to declare the accommodation of your boyfriend, but the agency will tell you how to do that.
