About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

London-Shanghai-Philippines then Philippines-Shanghai-London

Hello, we’re flying into shanghai from London. We were planning on applying for a 144hr visa. Then we fly to Philippines for a week, we were then planning on coming back to Shanghai for 2 nights before returning to London.

No visa needed. In both directions you are just transiting through mainland China.
