About:China Private Visit Visa

I’m moving to China to work in October. My wife is coming with me.

I assume she will need an S1 visa but one of the requirements for her visa is my residence permit and I won’t have that until I’m in China. Any advice?

Your wife can apply for the S1 visa as a ccompanying family member with you. Then the additional documents for her are: a photocopy of the application documents of your Z-Visa, Original and photocopy of notarized and authenticated marriage certificate.
