It depends on your exact itinerary and your nationality. I don’t think you can fly non-stop Lisbon Wuhan, for example.

Hello.
Thank you for your reply.
My nationality is Portuguese (Portugal).
From Lisbon, we fly to Beijing or Guangzhou then catch a connection flight to Wuhan.
If it is not possible to use the 72 hour Visa to fly to Wuhan from Lisbon, then I can fly only to Guangzhou.
Please advise best option.
Thank you

If you have two stops in China (such as Beijing and Wuhan, or Guangzhou and Wuhan) you are immediately limited to 24 hours transit without visa in China. Only one stop is allowed for 72/144 hours transit without visa. You must either get a visa or change your flights. For example, Air France fly non-stop to Wuhan, so something like LIS-CDG-WUH-HKG-CDG-LIS would work. You can book LIS-CDG-WUH//HKG-CDG-LIS as an open jaw, and have a separate ticket for WUH-HKG. But getting a visa and flying via Beijing or Guangzhou might well be cheaper.

Thank you.
So if I fly from Lisbon to Guangzhou and stay in Guangzhou then the 72/144hr visa will be allowed. Is this correct.
Thank you again for your support.

You must fly Country A-Guangzhou-Country B to qualify. It's really not difficult.

It depends where you fly after Wuhan. Honestly, just read the pages here. It’s not difficult to understand what is allowed.
