will 1 h 40 min enough for transfer from one fliht to anothr in kunming airport?

hi,I'm traveling from Jinan to Colombo via China eastern and I have to change the flight at the Kunming Airport. As far I know I have to go through checked out and again checked in procedure with my baggage. So I want to know will the time enough for me to transfer? This is first time I'm traveling alone so bit nervous.

Hi. I have just done this exercise.  You have to go thru immigration and fill,out a yellow temporary visa.  The immigration man gave it to me so I’m not sure if they are available in the arrival area. Proceed to baggage pickup, then through the security check.   Then go through the doors and turn left.  You will see an elevator to take you to the second floor for departures and your ongoing checkin.  That process is easy but before you go through immigration fill out your blue exit visa.  They are available on a table near where the officer is.     Hope this is of some help...my process did not take long but it was 5am and very quiet.

Thank you so much Sue for your answer. I bit confused about filling yellow and blue temporary visa form. If you can please explain about it bit more.  I also want to know after I complete checked out procedure do I need to go to the second floor with my baggage  to check in to my second flight. I will be in the airport around 2 pm. So I guess may be it will crowded so much. Will it be hard to find the departure terminal?

via the email aboveI have a problem as same as you.At the End of this yearI will go to Changshui International Airport and then  I must have to transfer to Diqing Shangri-La Airport I have a 2 hr for transferring.I will arrive at Changshui airport at 12.30 pm and the second flight will be take off at 2.30 pmI worry that the time have not enough for me to transfer? Please let me know about this problem or advice me of this caseThank  you so muchBecause I am not a Chinese person.
