do I need a transit via for Hong Kong during my travel

I am traveling from Nepal to USA via Hong Kong with Cathey Dragon Airline as connecting airline but, I will be traveling with United Airline from Hong Kong. I have a transit of around 3 hrs in Hong Kong so my concern is do I need a transit via for Hong Kong during my travel.
