About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Beijing, Tianjin & Hebei

We flying from the Uk to Beijing on the 4th of October 2019 at 05.15

and staying there until we join a cruse on the 7th October at 17.00 leaving from Tianjin . We will be going to the great wall and the forbidden city while staying in BJ . Will the 144 hour visa cover us . Mr H Boyles .

Yes, it will. Of course, here are two conditions your itinerary has to fulfill:

- Your flight from UK to Beijing should not have any additional landing within mainland China and in the country where your cruise will have its first port of call, immediately after Tianjin
- Your cruise is not allowed to have its first port of call, immediately after Tianjin, in mainland China

If the above mentioned conditions are fulfilled, you are definitely eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in Beijing area.

By the way, you should use correct terminology to avoid any misunderstandings. It is 144 hour visa free transit and not 144 hour visa because there is no visa at all.
