About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do i need to get Visa in advance?

i am traveling to kathmandu(Nepal) Via shanghai.
i have 2 days stopover in shanghai and fly from shanghai to Kathmandu via Kunming(14 hr Transit).
I have australian passport. Do i need china visa or not ?

If your total transit time in China is under 24h, then you don't need a visa.
