passport expires in five months

Question

Hello,We (family with 2 children) have tickets for next Saturday 24.08-01.09.2019, but now I found out that the children's passport are valid for only about 5 months until 24.01.2020. How can we solve this problem, please?ThanksPeter

Peter, as long as you all have valid visa, it would be fine. The remaining validity of your passport is not a concern.

Thanks Harry for your reply, still we didn't apply yet for Chinese Visa due to the under 6 months validity.I wonder whether my children can be granted visa in spite of the short validity.thanks again,Peter
