About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hi Anyone out there who can advise me.

Myself and two others are travelling from London, transiting through Guanhzhou airport en route to Auckland and returning the same way to Belfast, N. Ireland via London Heathrow. We have a 30 hour stopover in a Hotel airport. Can I assume that the 72 hour visa is ok and that I don't need to inform a local police station as we are staying at an airport hotel.

You don't need any kind of visa for your stay in Guangzhou.

There's no need to register at the police station as the hotel will do it for you.
