About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

chinese visa of 2004 lost

am travelling to china next month and the on line form asks if i have ever had a visa and requires the number but i cannot find that passport....it was 15 years ago.
how should i answer the question on the on line form?

Carolyn, I advise you to answer the question truthfully. Any lies may lead to the refusal of a visa. If you can't find the lost passport, just explain it to the consular officer or indicate it on the application form.
