About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit
Thailand to Beijing to USA (changing air carriers)
Hello, I am a U.S. citizen. My route is Bangkok to Beijing via Thai Airways and then Beijing to Detroit 2.5 days later, but I am changing airlines to Delta for the flight to the U.S. Am I eligible for the visa-free stay since (1) I am a U.S. citizen returning to the U.S. (even though coming from Thailand) and (2) switching airlines in Beijing? Thank you.
