About:Shanghai Travel

We arrive from Sydney, with China Eastern Airlines, we have an 18 hour stop in Shanghai

to continue our journey to Canada. We booked a room and will take advantage of it for a city tour. As is a stopover should we take special measures? Will we have our luggage according to you? Our recording will have been made in Sydney. Thank you

Well, since you have 18 hours stopover, then you better arrange your travel plan carefully. You don't need a visa because you can enjoy the 24 hours visa free policy. But if you want to leave the airport, you need to apply for the Stay Permit at the airport.

If the airlines have luggage check through service, then you don't need to collect the luggage.
