arriving Shanghai on cruise on the evening of the 5th march 2020 leaving on the 6march ? what visa ?

Dear, please check your cruise route details and see if your immediate ports of call before and after Shanghai are different and both outside of China. If yes, you can enjoy the visa-free transit policy. If not, you need a transit visa.
