About:Yichang - Zhangjiajie Train

Highspeed train operational? Number of soft vs hard sleeper tickets on train?

I notice there is already mention of the speed for the highspeed train between Yichang - Zhangjiajie. Does this mean that the high-speed train has already gotten into service?

What quantity of hard sleeper tickets vs soft sleeper tickets would be available on the K1473 train? As train tickets in China seem to sell out quickly, I would like to know if the best bet is to try and get tickets for either the hard sleeper or soft sleeper tickets (based on the total amount of available tickets).

High speed rides are not available in zhangjiajie yet. I am not clear about the detailed amount of sleeper beds but usually hard sleeper tickets are much more than soft sleeper. If you are worried about the tickets, you can choose one back up options in advance. For example, you can submit a booking for soft sleeper beds and inform travelchinaguide that you can go for hard sleeper if soft sleeper is not available. They will swich to your back up option is no soft sleeper
