About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit
Enter China with new passport and residence permit in old passport
Hello!
I'm currently in China with a residence permit for 7 months in my old passport.
I plan to travel soon due to work and my return date will be on a date where my passport will have validity of less than 6 months, so I'm planning to renew my passport now and transfer the residence permit from the old to the new passport once I'm back in China.
Do you know if it can be a problem to come back to China with the new passport without the residence permit and the old passport with the residence permit?
