Vienna - Urumqi - Guangzhou - Bangkok/Vienna - Urumqi - Guangzhou - Any city outside China

Hello, in November I am flying China Southern airways from Vienna - Urumqi - Guangzhou - Bangkok and back in February. There is a short stop in Urumqi in both ways (less than 2 hours). Flight numbers respectively: CZ6022 - CZ363, back: CZ3036 - CZ6021. Could anybody who took the flight with the VISA-Free transit report on it's success? I would really like to hear more people confirming the safety of this route or a similar route with 2 stops in china in Cities Urumqi - Guangzhou.

Thank you in advance!

Patrik, your entire itinerary is definitely and undeniably eligible for 24 hour visa free transit in both ways. The flights CZ6022 and CZ6021 are exempt from usual very specific requirements in Urumqi because China Southern has reached special deal with relevant authorities. So, with the overcoming of obstacle called Urumqi, everything else is in perfect accordance with the rules that govern visa free transit in China. In other words, when you have reached Guangzhou the rules are very simple, so your flight to Bangkok is not an issue at all. The same way back, your flight from Bangkok is not an issue and again, here we have a flight via Urumqi but in the opposite direction that is, as I have already explained, covered by special agreement of China Southern and the relevant authorities to provide to its passengers 24 hour visa free transit.

The above mentioned is guaranteed.
