My sister inviting me China on S2 visa.

Can my husband and kids accompany me on same visa category? Someone said S2 is applicable on blood relations only?

Yes, I also doubt whether your husband and kids can get the S2, because it's usually only issued to spouses, parents, sons, daughters, spouses of sons or daughters, brothers, sisters, grandparents, grandsons, granddaughters and parents-in-law of the foreigner who is in China.
