About:Former Residence of Lu Shaoxu

Visa change inside China from M business visa to S visa or from M visa to L visa

I am in China with a M type, and have my wife working in China with residence permit. I want to apply for residence permit as familiar of a worker. For doing this do I need the S or L type or can I apply directly with a M type? Is it possible to change from M to S or L type inside China mainland?

it is not possible for you to apply for a residence permit with a M type, but you can change into a S typle and then apply for the residence permit.
