About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

23 Layover in Beijing

Hi,
I have Pakistani passport. I am travelling from Vancouver-> Beijing-> Islamabad. Have 23 layover in Beijing. We are 5 family members (2 Adults & 3 children). Are we eligible for Free Visa to exit the airport and go to a hotel (or site seeing)?

Nasir, your itinerary is eligible for 24h visa exemption transit and it is possible for you to apply for entry permit to exit the airport.

I have heard that Pakistani passport holders aren’t eligible for 24h visa. They have to apply for tourist visa.

Nasir, Pakistan passport holders transiting in Xiamen require a visa but can enjoy 24h visa exemption transit in Beijing.
