Business visa to X1 Student visa

Hi. I am planning to arrive in Beijing soon and I have an M business visa. if I am accepted to a Chinese language school, can I get a X1 student visa in PBS? What are the required documents?

Asya, you may need to change M to X1 outside mainland China, such as Hong Kong or Macau.
