About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Fly into Beijing,stay 3 days,cruise out Tianjin.Royal Caribbean.

Hi can we use the 144 transit without visa scheme for this itinerary;
Arrive Beijing by air from UK/Dubai
2 nights in Beijing.
Cruise out of Tianjin with Royal Caribbean to Japan,Taiwan,Hong Kong,Vietnam,Singapore and then fly back to UK.
Any advise gratefully received as so many conflicting opinions.

Yes, you are eligible for 144 hour visa free in principle, but I will just mention two conditions, so that you can double check if everything is fine:

- Your flight from Dubai to Beijing should not have any additional landing within mainland China and Japan
- Your cruise should not have its first port call, immediately after Tianjin, in mainland China

I assume that your itinerary is just fine, but just check it once again and if the above conditions are fulfilled, you don't need anything, but your passports and your documentation (flight tickets and cruise tickets in hard copy).

Hi thank you for reply
We fly to Beijing and that is our only stop in china,we are there for 58 hours then we cruise to Japan .
