About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Canadian/Italian passports - 144-hour visa free stay

Hi! I have the following itinerary: flying from Dhaka, Bangladesh to Shanghai on Aug 29 with a layover in Hong Kong since there is no direct flight and then Shanghai to Dallas, USA. I have both Canadian and Italian passports. Am I eligible for 144-hour visa free? I am visiting offices of company I work.

HK - Shanghai - Dallas is fine for the 144h twov as long as your flight to Dallas doesn't stop in HK again.
