About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Vienna - Urumqi - Guanghzou - Langkawi

Hello I am Slovak passport holder, I will fly in Sept from Vienna (China Southern CZ6022) to Langkawi. I have 1hour 40 minutes "technical stopover" in Urumqi , so if i understand, max 2 hours visa-free transit, then 5:50 stop in Guangzhou, possibly 24-hour visa-free transit.
Am I right?

You are definitely right. The flight CZ6022 from Vienna to Guangzhou via Urumqi is confirmed eligible and you can use it by relying on 24 hour visa free transit. Also, your connection for Langkawi is within the legal frames for this type of visa free transit scheme. To conclude, your entire flight itinerary is perfectly eligible for 24 hour visa free transit.

Since it was 4 years ago, you will be probably asked several questions about the stamp or better to say about the nature of your visit to Turkey. You will plainly explain that you were in Istanbul for a sightseeing and shopping. Also, if asked about Jordanian stamp, you will mention visit to wonderful Petra and the beach in Aqaba. After that, very simple and logical explanation, you will be allowed to normally proceed with your travel all the way to Langkawi. You will be perfectly fine with those stamps. Just be relaxed and enjoy your travel :)
