I am booking flights with China Eastern LON-PVG-Bali for my husband - return ticket.
Is he eligible for 24 hour visa free transit?

If the above mentioned itinerary doesn't have any additional landings beside the above mentioned, he is definitely eligible for 24 hour visa free transit. Anyway, you should have in mind that the transit time should not exceed 24 hours for a single minute!
