About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Visa transit free

I will arrive to Shangai from Buenos Aires via Atlanta delta airlines. sept 7th then I will take a cruise MSC to South Korea port Shangai on sept 11th . I'd very very grateful if you can help and tell us whether we do need to purchase visas or elligible for the 144 hour free visa transit. Thanks.

Gerardo, you are eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in principle. Here are the conditions your itinerary has to fulfill:

- Your flight from Atlanta to Shanghai should not have any additional landing within mainland China and South Korea
- Your cruise should not have its first port call, immediately after Shanghai, in mainland China

I assume that you will not return to China because you didn't mention you will.

So, if the above conditions are met, you are definitely eligible for 144 hour visa free transit. If you have something to add for us to be more precise, just do it.
