About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Visa free transit can I take fast train to Hong Kong to return to Europe ?

If I arrive to Guangzhou from Europe by plane and get a 144 hrs. visa free transit can I take fast train to Hong Kong to return to Europe ?

You cannot. High-speed rail is not valid for visa-free transit. You can take the slow train, but you must have the confirmed train ticket in your hand when you check in for your flight to Guangzhou.
