Can I use the fast train as travel to Hong Kong as part of the 144 transit visa waiver scheme

Hi. If travelling from UK to Beijing then to Hong Kong. Can I use the fast train as travel to Hong Kong as part of the 144 transit visa waiver scheme

The fast train needs a visa since it is not separated for domestic vs international passengers. Only the overnight slow train can be used for TWOV. In addition ticket must be purchased before you arrive in China.
