What are the chances of staying together forever?

Me and My Girlfriend are in a long distance relationship my birthday is on 07/17/1996 and my Girlfriend's birthday is on 11/29/1999 our relationship started on 12/08/2016 until this year we're still strong. there were moments when we had to break up or take some time off cause of money problems and sometimes I cheat on her, sometimes she cheats on me, but that was the past, but why do we keep on choosing to be together again?

If you both follow your heart, maybe it means that you two are the true love. In future life, you two need to have understanding and patience to each other. When facing difficulties, you are suggested to solve them together.
