About:China Business Visa

Can I use an M visa to visit a family member working in China

I have an M visa from a business trip in 2016. I want to visit my daughter who is now working in Shanghai. Can I travel to China with my M visa or do I need to apply for a new S2 visa?

If the M type is still valid, you can use it to visit your daughter.
