About:Shenyang Taoxian International Airport

I have a transfer flight at Shenyang Taoxian International Airport for 15 hrs.

Do I need to check out and check in again? and do I need to apply for a transit visa? *I don't want to get out from the airport. I just want to walk to the Transfer Zone and wait there. Some people said that there is no Transfer Zone in this airport and travelers have to check out, take the luggage and check in again. Is it true?

You are eligible for 24-hour visa-free transit. You can have a rest in transfer zone. If you want to leave the transfer area, you need to apply for the stay permit at the airport.

Is Thai Citizen eligible for Visa Free at Shenyang?

China Southern Airline told me that I need to apply for Visa if my flight transfers in Shenyang. Only 24 hour free transfer Visa is at Guangzhou (CAN).I am not sure for Wuhan because airline staffs sent me personal massage that it will be no longer visa free at Wuhan. No formal announcement from airline though. >>> This information is for only if you fly with China Southern Airline

Sometimes official announcement will be late. I think you should take the staff's advice.

As I understand, China Southern doesn’t have have flight transfer from Bangkok to Los Angeles or San Francisco at Wuhan and Shenyang Airports. It’s two different tickets, so we need to pass the immigration and take our luggages and then check in again.

But China Southern Flight from Bangkok to Los Angeles or San Francisco has flight transfer at CAN airport and our luggages will check through and we don’t need to get out of the airport to take our luggages. We cannot find ticket BKK-WUH-LA at their official website.

Hello Lalin, not sure if your flight is already flown, I would have a layover for around 14 hours for both legs bound to/from LAX from BKK there as well. Anyway it was issued under one ticket. And I don't think that Thai passport holder is eligible for that visa free. I'm thinking about applying for double entry Chinese visa to cover both legs. My flight is also of China Southern.

I haven’t flown yet so I am not sure about this matter too. However, I will have a layover at Wuhan International Airport and since they have don’t have transfer flight at this airport, i think my luggages will not be checked through. So I will apply for Chinese transit visa for this flight.
