144-hour TWOV China

Good afternoon!

I am a citizen of Ukraine. Is it possible use 144-hour TWOV if we arrive at the Shanghai airport from Ukraine and then sail by a cruise ship from the port of Shanghai in Japan?

It's fine as long as the ship doesn't have another stop in China after Shanghai.
