I have a 10 year china visa, i am going to china in September, what do i have to do invitation lette

I applied last year for a china visa, our trip was canceled last minute last August, so never got to use my visa. So now i am going this coming September. My travel agent sent me invitation letter and our itinerary. So my question is do i need to sent the documents in or just bring them along to china with me?
