I have previously worked in China from 2003-2010 on Z and F visa. I found a school to hire me . I have been waiting for the invitation letter and I wanted to speed up the process. So I applied for L visa and got it. But right after I applied for my L( as soon as I left the consulate), I received employer invitation letter. Can I arrive in China on my L visa and have my employer quickly switch it to a Z in China??Ron

Ron, you may not change your visa type in China, but you can change it in Hong Kong or Macau.
