About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Taipeh Shanghai Frankfurt (nonstop flight, Taipeh)

My flight plan is:

Taiwan to Shanghai.
Staying in Shanghai for 3 days.
Flying back to Frankfurt Germany.

but the problem is, that it is not a non-stop flight and I have to wait in Taiwan for 1h25min. So is in that case a visa needed? If yes, is there any chinese embassy in taiwan or how can I get a chinese Visa?

Thank you in Advance for helping

So you mean you need to stop over Taiwan on your way back? If yes, you need to get a visa. There is no Chinese embassy in Taiwan and you need to apply for it in Hong Kong or other nearby countries. The simplest way is to change your flight route to be eligible for the 144h visa-free transit in Shanghai.
