australian tourist visa will last for 30 days

I've been told a tourist visa will last for 30 days, this site says 3 months, which one is right? This impacts on when I need to apply for the visa, as the visa is issued from the date of issue.

Roger, I guess that you misunderstand the validity and duration. The validity of visa is usually 3 months, which means that you need to enter China within 3 months after the date of issue. The duration of stay is normally 30 days. It means that you can stay for 30 days upon arrival in China.
