Living full-time in China on a M Visa
Hi, is it okay to live in China full-time on an M visa? I have done freelance consulting work for the last year, I don't work for a specific company, and have unlimited entries on my visa, but last time I came into the country they told me my company needs to give me a work permit. They didn't understand that I don't have a company. Why would they give me an unlimited-entry business visa but then say it's not okay to spend so much time in China? I don't quite understand the logic.
