Stella, you will have to repost your question because now we can only just guess what did you wanted to ask.
So far, we know that you intend to arrive from UK to Beijing with tour company and you will have a five day tour or cruise, but it is not clear where you will spend the mentioned five days and what will be your exact itinerary. Somehow I assume that you will arrive in Beijing, explore the area and then proceed by plane to Hong Kong where you will board the cruise to Japan. So, the route UK - Beijing - Hong Kong is eligible for 144 hours visa free transit, but you really have to complement your question in order to receive relevant answer.
