Got csc scholarship and have residence permit for 1 y under s2 visa. Have to do new x visa?

Hi, i have residence permit for 1 y under dependent visa s2. I got csc scholarship this year. Now i want to know if i have to take new student visa to admit in university and to enter in mainland china or s2 visa can be used.

Tahsin, you can still use S2. But you'd better change to X type at local Public Security Bureau.
