144-hour visa-free transit in Fuzhou

I will be travelling to Hong Kong via Fuzhou with a following itinerary (10 days in total):

=> Paris - Fuzhou (2 hours stop over) - Hong Kong
Fuzhou (11 hours stop over) -> Paris

I am holding a Russian passport and as far as I can see online I neither require a visa to Hong Kong (Russians seem to be eligible for a 14-day visa-free stay) nor I need a transit visa in China (Russians seems to be eligible for 144-hour visa-free transit); however, I see that this option doesnt work in the Fuzhou airport.

Could you please advice what could be my best option in this case? Do I need to apply for any visa(s)?

Thank you very much in advance!
Julia

Julia, Russia citizen can stay in Hong Kong without visa for a stay of shorter than 14 days. Plus, your itinerary is perfectly covered by 24h visa exemption transit in mainland China, so you can enjoy visa free transit in Fuzhou twice.
