About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

Applying for visa out of home country

I was in UK in June and my flight to shanghai is immediate after my return. I hold a Singaporean passport. So I am on tourist visa for 15 days in China, so within this period I will just have to apply for an extention. I am spending 4 days in Shanghai before going to suzhou for 14 days and another 4 days back in Shanghai, I have an inviting entity (only 14 days in Suzhou) and confirmed flights.

But I'd like to ask where I can find these PSB Exit and Entry administration office in Shanghai/ suzhou and what are their names in Chinese. And also is the application in chinese/ English? Is my deduction correct regarding a new visa applied in China?

Dear, do you mean to enter China with your Singaporean passport and enjoy the 15-day visa-free stay? Then apply for a regular visa at the local Exit and Entry Administration? If yes, you can do this in Shanghai Exit and Entry Administration.
Chinese name: 上海公安局出入境管理局
Address: No. 1500, Minsheng Road, Pudong New District

The application is in English.

Thank you for the Chinese name!

Oh, but I was intending to stay for 30 days for school reasons but I am unable to apply for my visa in advance or in my home country, so I want to just apply in china directly for an extension of the free 15 days tourist visa.
